Agreement provides access to TruVizion for cable network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Alpharetta, GA (May 24, 2012) — ZCorum announced today that Golden West Cablevision has begun using ZCorum’s TruVizion cable modem and CMTS diagnostics software. Golden West Cablevision offers cable television and broadband Internet services to consumers across South Dakota, and is a subsidiary of Golden West Telecommunications, South Dakota’s largest independent telecommunications provider. In addition to cable modem and cable TV service, the parent company offers local and long-distance telephone and DSL service.
According to Julie Compann, ZCorum’s President and Chief Operating Officer, TruVizion helps their providers efficiently troubleshoot cable modem issues, as well as plant-wide problems. “TruVizion has proven to be effective in reducing operational costs and increasing customer satisfaction for our customers,” said Compann. “We’re happy to add Golden West to our family of TruVizion Affiliates, and we look forward to providing them with even more value when we add DSL diagnostics capabilities to the application later this year.”
