ILoveMyISPWhat was life like before the Internet? Scary thought, huh? The Internet is something we’ve all come to take for granted. Can’t remember a factoid? Let me Google that for ya. Missed the latest episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo? Fire up Hulu (…and you may not want to tell anyone about that). Let’s face it. We love the Internet.

Since Valentine’s day is approaching, and we can’t really tell the Internet how much we love it, we thought we’d take some time to thank those folks who provide the Internet to our data-hungry world.  We would “love” to hear why you love your ISP. Let us know and you could win $50. Not only that, but your ISP could win fame and fortune… well, maybe a little fame, anyway.

To enter, just leave a comment below telling us two things: who is your ISP and why do you love them. Only one comment per person. We’ll pick randomly from all comments. If you’re comment is selected we’ll send you a $50 Amazon gift card, which you can then use to buy something online and have it delivered right to your door. Just more awesomeness from the Internet! We’ll be selecting the winner on February 12th, and announcing it right here on February 14th. So, leave your comment below. Don’t worry. We won’t sell, loan or spam your email address. We just need it to contact the winner. Feel free to also enter your ISP’s Web address in the field where it says “Website” if you like.

    Rancho Murieta Home Owners Association is a great ISP. When I first switched from AT&T DSL a couple of years ago, I was amazed by the improved band width and response times. Since then they have done nothing but get even better!

    RMA Broadband offered by Rancho Murieta Homeowners Association is fast, reliable and priced competitivly.
    The reason I love it, is that the income stays in our association, helping keep our dues lower and does not go to AT&T………Support our community.

    We just recently left AT&T for Rancho Murieta Broadband and WOW!!! What a difference, I can not believe the speed of both the network and of the service(order one day and hooked up and running the next). SWITCH OVER and SAVE money plus support the community.

    My ISP is Rancho Murieta Homeowners network. Previously had a dal line with AT&T. Much slower than the middle level of RMa Broadband and AT$T was much higher in costs. RMA Broadband was much quicker and was the last time that an ISP or cable company lowered their prices and gave you a better level of service. That’s exactly what RMA did this last January….Lowered the middle tier by $20 per month taking it down to $49.99.Couldn’t be happier with the level of service we are receiving.

    Rancho Murieta Broadband is the best. I called for outside computer support and they took remote control of my computer and the tech said “Your computer is fast”. I have to deal with another ISP for my business and there is definitely a difference in Speed, Support and Price!

    winamac.tv – I love my internet, phone and cable bundle from TV Cable/Zing. I have fast internet and on rare occasions when I have a problem they fix it within minutes. I highly recommend them all the time.

    We love our TV and Internet provider : TV Cable / Zing (tvcable@ Rennselaer.tv in Rensselaer.IN), They provide us with great services, with good prices for your phone, TV Cable, and Internet. I am a gamer on the internet and they have great low prices of which packages you choice. And, with me being a big time gamer on the internet I have too commend our service provider Zing aka TV/Cable Rennselear, IN for calling and talking in regards to the Gamers out there and what they perfer as far as the Internet speed and what Gamers want in their internet. And they did it !!!!!! So I would recommend Zing aka TV/Cable Rennselear, IN to anyone in our areas. The folks that work at the office will help you in any way they can and their Techs are the greatest cause they go beyond their job with helping and very knowledgeable in thier product and the techs will hook all up to your TV if you can’t.     TV Cable/Zing is the awesome-est ISP….bundled Cable TV/Internet/Phone is the best at a great price. I’ve told all my neighbors about this fantastic service. You just can’t beat this provider given the fact that this is a rural area and we would not have this type of service if it wasn’t for TV Cable/Zing. Excellent customer service and prompt response to any issues.

    I love the zing internet it is always there and fast enough to watch Netflix do what ever I want and my son uses for his collage work. The old service I had was slow and sometimes not working at all once for six weeks now it is always up and ready. I love it so much that I have sent four people to sign up.     I use NewWave Communications and have been very pleased with the service. Any time there is a problem (I’ve had very few issues) – they have fixed it that day and usually within the hour. The prices are great and the internet is fast! :)

    Living in a semi-rural area of Illinois presents many challenges to accessing internet services and few choices. The local phone company services were slow and expensive. Satellite was extremely costly and not very fast or reliable. When Newwave bought the local Charter cable service, it was like a breath of fresh air. Speed and reliability became a reality! Using their 30mb service makes downloading a flash and using multimedia services run flawlessly. Even VuDu’s HDX movies play without buffering.
    When I have had the need to use their customer service, I found them both friendly and knowledgeable. With my 30+ years of IT background, some which was supervising a support group, I find them very capable and willing to go the extra mile to solve a problem or answer a tough question.
    I give them 5 Stars for service and support!

    We have Windstream and love them simply for fantastic customer service. When assistance is needed I can actually reach a human being who is nice to me on the other line, and they are very helpful!

    My ISP is Western Broadband in semi-rural middle Arizona. They have been reliable, performance is good. Trouble calls are infrequent (two or three in six years), and when my modem died, a replacement was delivered quickly, at no charge.

    I have BELD – Braintree Electric Light Department. Ours is a municiply owned Electric, Phone and Broadband company. I have had their service for 22 years and wouldn’t switch for anything!

    I use NewWave Communications and have the Warp Wave 50 package. I was very hesitant for ANY service provider in my area. The previous company sold 30mb internet that clocked at 1-3mb. I switched to a better “ALL OPTIC” network and my 50mb got me an amazing 4-6mb. I was still unhappy with the speed and price. I decided to try NewWave and now ALWAYS get 50-70mb!!! The local office is amazing with a great staff and my price is LESS than the 15mb package with the other company and less than the 6mb package with DSL. Keep up the Good Work NWC in Vincennes, Indiana!!

    We have Western Broadband as well. We live in SaddleBrooke. We get great service, reliable connection, great tech support, reasonable rates, and good speed uploading and downloading. What more could we want.

    Western broadband is very good most of the time and that is much appreciated. Their phone tech support is excellent. However, they need more capacity on their servers ’cause when it’s slow, it’s REALLY slow.

    I use Rensselaer TV Cable for not only my internet but my tv package too. Why I like them is their reasonable prices for the area and the amazing packages you can get compared to the competitors who over price stuff. I love that I never have any complaints compared to other services I worked with in the past when it came to my internet. NO matter what the weather is outside or anything I can guarentee through them that I will get not only fast, quick internet service but also fast service if I have a question or need help understanding something. You know when working with TV Cable that you are not going to be sitting around on hold and can expect great customer service every time.

    Community Antenna System in Hillsboro, Wisconsin, is a fabulous ISP. I have been with them for about 6 years. During that time I completed a master’s degree online at Kansas State University. Dependable, quality internet service is an absolute necessity when completing a college degree.     Rensselaer TV Cable has friendly and prompt service. It’s nice to be able to call and reach an actual breathing pleasant person without going thru an automated phone system and to be able stop into an office right here in town. May seem old fashion but that is what good a business is built on, customer personalization and service. I took advantage of the bundle package offered by Rensselaer TV Cable, Internet and phone are what is expected, excellent!     NewWave Rocks! They are in the process of upgrading the service here in my rural area. We are talking Mayberry small. As soon as they took over internet speeds have increased and become more reliable. The previous provider was no better than dial up. They have local people you can contact. In fact, I emailed the person responsible for my area on a Saturday, and got a reply with helpful info, all within a few hours. If you live in an area where NewWave is available, I highly recommend them. In my area they offer everything, internet, TV, phone, security. Prices are reasonable as well.
