Congratulations to TV Cable/Zing, the winner of ZCorum’s 2013 “I Love My ISP” contest. TV Cable received the most love from their customers throughout the course of the contest. Michael M., a customer of TV Cable/Zing, was one of the many customers who showed TV Cable their love. “They provide us with great services, with good prices for your phone, TV cable and Internet… Highly recommend- can’t say it enough. Keep up the good work Zing aka TV Cable Rennselaer, IN.”
TV Cable/Zing is a family-owned business that began as Filson Electric and later became Rensselaer Cable TV Company in 1964 to meet the demand for a more reliable television signal in the area. Today they offer Cable TV, Broadband Internet and digital phone service in Rennselaer, Morocco and Winamac, Indiana.
“I’m thrilled that we received the most votes in the ‘I Love My ISP’ contest,” said Eric Galbreath, Vice President of Operations at TV Cable /Zing. “We work hard to provide the best Internet experience available, so it’s very encouraging to read the nice comments from our customers.”
ZCorum is pleased to be included in Broadband Communities’ list of “Top 100 MDU Technology Providers for 2012”. The top 100 were selected by a panel of industry experts with the magazine’s editors making the final decisions, and were chosen based on products or services that allow property owners to create “technology amenities” for residents, as well as a history of innovations and successful deployments.
ZCorum is mentioned in three categories: “Design, Engineering, Installation and Service Management”, “Back Office Software and Services”, and “Broadband Applications”. In these categories ZCorum is recognized for providing Engineering services, hardware selection, network monitoring, broadband diagnostics, wholesale VoIP, marketing assistance and end-user support. ZCorum’s Broadband Policy Enforcer was also listed as a way to “help service providers cope with the ever-increasing thirst for bandwidth from their subscribers.”
ZCorum is proud to be one of FierceCable’s Fierce15. The Fierce15 winners were selected specifically because of innovative products and services that are meeting key needs for cable providers. TruVizion broadband diagnostics was nominated for inclusion in the list by cable operators who are using the tool to increase their efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the level of customer service for their subscribers.
Just ask Michael Pry, network administrator at Municipal Utilities & City Cable, and one of the operators who nominated ZCorum. “Before we got TruVizion, we were unable to see any kind of historical data on our modems and CMTS. If something happened during the night but wasn’t happening the next morning, we wouldn’t see it. Now, not only do we have historical data on every cable modem in the system, we can even look at historic levels for all upstream and downstream channels for up to 90 days in the past.”
Concept Cable Wins “I Love TruVizion” Video Contest
Jason and Mark from Concept Cable won our video contest, which included a free trip to the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in Atlanta, GA and a video camera. They stopped by our booth a few times to hang out and even started telling people viewing our demo how TruVizion has helped make their work life easier. I was able to catch them for a quick interview on Wednesday, November 16th, 2011.
Here is the winning video from Concept Cable, who won our “I Love TruVizion” Video Contest:
Our second place winner for the “I Love TruVizion” Video Contest was Cunningham Cable:
