The Independent Show is fast approaching. Are you going? You might be able to go for free, and that’s a good price. How? ZCorum is running a contest to send one lucky person on an all-expense paid trip to sunny Orlando for the show. What’s the catch? Nothing. Really! We’ll pay for airfare, hotel, conference registration… all free.
What’s the Independent Show?
Well, if you have to ask that, you may not qualify [okay... maybe there is a catch]. But, hey, you never know. Do you work for a service provider like an independent cable company or telephone company? If so, and they also happen to be a member company of the NCTC or ACA, then you do qualify.
The Independent Show is the annual conference hosted by the National Cable Television Cooperative and the American Cable Association, and takes place July 22nd – 25th. In addition to a two-day trade show featuring products and services from programmers and other vendors, there will be conference sessions on hot topics like the impact of TVEverywhere, and how you can better market your services to local businesses. What’s TVEverywhere? Okay, you probably don’t qualify, but here are the details for those of you who do.
If you work for a cable company or telephone company that’s also a member company of NCTC or ACA, go to our contest page. There you’ll have a chance to answer some questions about ZCorum’s products and services by perusing our Website and a few others places we’ll send you. It’s kind of like a scavenger hunt. You’ll get an entry for every question answered correctly–except the first one, which is your work email address (come on, you gotta work a little for this). Answer the first six questions (# 1 being a gimmie) and you qualify for a drawing for the free trip. Answer more questions and get more entries. Like us on Facebook and get another entry. Follow us on Twitter, and get another. Comment on one of our blog articles and get another. In fact, you can earn one additional entry per day until the contest is over by leaving a new comment on one of our blog posts. Read the post and make it relevant. I know. More work. But, each qualifying comment is another entry and another chance to win. We’ll draw randomly from all entries to pick the 
winner on June 4th.
