Solutions Architect (Alpharetta, GA)

This position is for a Solutions Architect that is a Subject Matter Expert in various Access Technologies. The individual will be a key contributor in the pre-sales cycle and will be work with the Sales Executive on Product Presentations and Product Trials. The end goal is assisting the Sales Organization in the positioning and selling of Service Assurance and Proactive Network Maintenance Platforms. However, the Product Portfolio focuses on a variety of OSS back office Platforms for Service Providers. Participation in industry working groups and technical forums related to technology development and standards is part of this role.

The position requires strong technical skills working knowledge of the Access (not just limited to
DOCSIS) Specifications including the following technologies:

Requirements for the position:

      • Access Technologies: DOCSIS 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.1 (Cisco, ARRIS, Harmonic)
        1. CCAP, DAA (Remote Phy, Remote MAC/Phy)
        2. FTTx, GPON, EPON (AdTran, Calix, Huawei)
        3. Outside Plant Experience is a plus
      • IPv4, IPv6
      • Other emerging technologies
      • Prior experience with Service Provider Service Assurance Platforms is desired
      • Experience with Auto Configuration Server (ACS) and TR-069 protocol is desired

Responsibilities include:

      • Work with product and sales teams to interpret customer requirements and deliver
        solutions with the end-goal of sales in mind.
      • Demonstrate an understanding of what the customer will need in terms of on-going
        service, and manage expectations on the customer and sales side.
      • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations that explain key
        technical aspects of solutions that will benefit customers and prospects.
      • Provide answers to client questions about our product, servicing, and other technical
        aspects of the product.
      • Successfully tailor demonstrations for customers, trade shows, and special events.
      • Work closely with the customer to set up and maintain a successful demo period, being
        available to answer questions and trouble-shoot as needed.
      • Be able to think critically and suggest improvements that might lead to cost savings or
        other client benefits.
      • Work with the client to problem-solve through every hurdle during the sales process.
      • Arrange and, in some cases, lead training for customers.
      • Work with compliance to ensure all legal requirements are met.
      • Research the industry on an on-going basis to know what changes may be on the horizon
        that will impact current and future sales.
      • Provide feedback to the team as well as R&D for process or product improvements as
        required.
      • Condense information into reports for a wide variety of uses from marketing and sales to
        engineering and R&D.
      • Provide clear and accurate responses for RFPs and/or contribute technical solutions
        directly to proposals.
      • Work in tandem with the sales team on presentations to ensure accuracy.
      • Willingness to travel and devote long hours to challenging sales projects.
      • Represent Company business interests in a wide variety of settings and relationships
        including company management, business partners, and equipment vendors.
      • Contribute to Strategic Product development.
      • Define Company custom models between customer-premises equipment (CPE) and Auto
        Configuration Servers (ACS).

Advanced Network Engineer (Alpharetta, GA)

ZCorum is seeking an advanced Network Engineer who will be responsible for the use of applied technical knowledge and practical experience to resolve network issues. Looking for a motivated team-oriented and collaborative player that can get projects to completion as well as work independently. Excellent communication skills are expected as the role will require the ability to translate technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities include:

      • Proven knowledge in the following network protocols: FTTH, FTTN, FTTP, OLT, ONT, TR-69, ACS, BGP, OSFP, MPLS, Multicast, IPv6, CGN, DHCP, TFTP, TOD
      • Experience in supporting ISP with such services as Fiber, Cable modem, DLS and Wireless offerings.

Strategic Sales Representative – Inside Sales (Alpharetta, GA)

ZCorum is seeking a dynamic, consultative sales professional to manage the sales cycle for strategic accounts, from prospecting to closing new business. The target market is tier-two and tier-three broadband service providers such as independent telephone companies, cable companies, municipalities and wireless Internet service providers. The product suite includes wholesale Internet access services, such as private-label email and end-user technical support, network engineering, broadband diagnostics software and Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions. This is primarily an inside sales position with limited travel.

Responsibilities include:

      • Coordinating and leading all aspects of the “sales cycle” including: prospecting, cold calling, following up on leads, setting appointments, creating needs assessments, ROI analysis, providing and presenting prospects with proposals and contracts, reading buying signals, handling objections, and closing the sale.
