Meet Angie

If you’re listening slowly, you won’t be able to keep up with Angie Walker’s signature fast talking. Her mouth runs two miles a minute, but she knows what she’s talking about having graduated from Central Georgia Tech with a 4.0 GPA. Excelling in school didn’t keep her from developing a love of the outdoors and wood working. She’s the female version of Paul Bunyan and gets crafty with wood, so make sure to get your orders in for her next creation.

Another customer support alumna, Angie has been with ZCorum for over 15 years getting her start with the company in the late 90s. She credits a certain ZCorum rock star, as being a great mentor and helping her to overcome those customer support jitters in the beginning. And, yes, she was even talking fast then! Angie quickly grasped her role in customer support but realized that she was ready to take another direction and face new challenges. Becoming a Business Account Manager was the challenge that she needed, so she came, she saw, and she conquered. Working with ZCorum affiliates provides her with a sense of accomplishment because she’s able to get into the trenches and assess their needs, and it also helps that she’s able to expand her knowledge with these interactions. There’s ALWAYS something new to learn. Just ask her anything about any topic, and if she doesn’t know it, you better believe she’s calling someone, getting on Google, or sending an email requesting assistance. Assertiveness is the name of her game.

Just like her time at ZCorum, Angie and her husband Mickey have been together for 21 years, so we at least know that at her last birthday party, there should’ve been at least 5 more candles on her cake, but who’s counting? You can always find her spending time with her son Austin and her step-children, Kayleigh and Brandon even though she tries to coerce them into watching her demo her latest power tools. Unfortunately for Angie, that’s a hobby that she’ll just have to learn to participate in by herself.
