Advanced Network Engineer (Alpharetta, GA)

ZCorum is seeking an advanced Network Engineer who will be responsible for the use of applied technical knowledge and practical experience to resolve network issues. Looking for a motivated team-oriented and collaborative player that can get projects to completion as well as work independently. Excellent communication skills are expected as the role will require the ability to translate technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities include:

      • Proven knowledge in the following network protocols: FTTH, FTTN, FTTP, OLT, ONT, TR-69, ACS, BGP, OSFP, MPLS, Multicast, IPv6, CGN, DHCP, TFTP, TOD
      • Experience in supporting ISP with such services as Fiber, Cable modem, DLS and Wireless offerings.
      • Strong knowledge of Calix, Adtran, Nortex, ACS (Auto Confiuration Server), Cisco and Arris configurations and Operations.
      • Design, Setup and Deploy FTTx Systems.
      • The design and configuration of ACS using TR69 for FTTx and DOCSIS systems.
      • Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
      • Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access
      • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
      • Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
      • Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects.

Strategic Sales Representative – Inside Sales (Alpharetta, GA)

ZCorum is seeking a dynamic, consultative sales professional to manage the sales cycle for strategic accounts, from prospecting to closing new business. The target market is tier-two and tier-three broadband service providers such as independent telephone companies, cable companies, municipalities and wireless Internet service providers. The product suite includes wholesale Internet access services, such as private-label email and end-user technical support, network engineering, broadband diagnostics software and Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions. This is primarily an inside sales position with limited travel.

Responsibilities include:

      • Coordinating and leading all aspects of the “sales cycle” including: prospecting, cold calling, following up on leads, setting appointments, creating needs assessments, ROI analysis, providing and presenting prospects with proposals and contracts, reading buying signals, handling objections, and closing the sale.
      • Leading web-based presentations and information sessions via GoToMeeting for prospects regarding services and technologies delivered by ZCorum and its strategic partners.
      • Tracking sales activity with daily and weekly call reports, sales forecasts, prospect analyses, and territory analyses.
      • Working cooperatively with other departments throughout the sales process, including Sales Engineering, Network Engineering and Senior Management.
      • Being creative, determined and flexible in driving demand and moving prospects through the pipeline.
      • Building strong business relationships based upon trust and providing value to the customer.
      • Being continuously engaged in learning about new developments and trends in the Broadband industry.
      • Performing efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced technological environment.

The ideal candidate will possess these qualities:

      • Two-plus years experience and success in building, developing and prospecting in a business to business market, including lead generation, cold calling, moving the prospect through the consultative sales process and closing business.
      • Preference to candidates with knowledge of the Cable Broadband, IP Set-Top Box, DSL and FTTH Telecommunications industry, such as Cable DOCSIS Data Cable Services, FTTH and DSL Broadband Telecom Services, VoIP for Residential and Commercial Services.
      • Good negotiation and presentation skills
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Experience utilizing a CRM tool, such as SugarCRM.
      • Proficiency in PC software applications for word processing, spreadsheets and presentation development.

The Strategic Sales Representative compensation package includes a base salary with uncapped commission. The base salary for this position is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. We are currently seeking a dynamic and innovative Rock Star to join our sales team as The Lead Generation Sales Specialist who is responsible for identifying and further qualifying prospects qualification for the client’s products and markets. An integral component of this role is to empower our Strategic Account Managers with the highest quality leads and appointments through outbound marketing.

      • Making 100+ calls a day
