Backend Software Developer – Java (Alpharetta, GA)

ZCorum is seeking a senior level Backend Java Developer for a contract to permanent position. The Developer will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining web applications relevant to broadband communications. The ideal candidate will be an expert in modern web application technologies capable of contributing heavily to the design and development of existing applications and greenfield projects.

Responsibilities include:

              • Experience and understanding of object oriented design (OOD)
              • Experience with common third party libraries: Google Guava, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Spring Web Services, Hibernate, SLF4J
              • Experience with test driven design (TDD) and unit testing frameworks: JUnit
              • Experience with a Maven build environment
              • Experience with messaging (JMS) technologies: Apache ActiveMQ
              • Experience with SQL databases: MySQL, Oracle
              • Experience with web application containers: Apache Tomcat

Web Developer and Digital Marketing Specialist (Alpharetta, GA)

ZCorum has an excellent opportunity for a creative marketing professional with a proficiency in website design using WordPress, SEO expertise, and graphic design skills.

Responsibilities include:

              • Enhancing and maintaining content on internal company websites through use of WordPress
              • Advanced customization of WordPress themes and CSS to address custom needs of the site’s design
              • Identifying appropriate keywords and copy placement for maximum Search Engine Optimization

Network Engineer (Alpharetta, GA)

ZCorum is seeking an advanced Network Engineer with the previous skills in protocols such as BGP, OSFP, MPLS, multicast, IPV6, CGN, DHCP, TFTP & TOD. Possess experience in supporting ISP with such services as Cable modem and DLS and Wireless offerings. Have a strong knowledge of Cisco and Arris configurations and Operations.

Responsibilities include:

Strategic Sales Representative – Inside Sales (Alpharetta, GA)

ZCorum is seeking a dynamic, consultative sales professional to manage the sales cycle for strategic accounts, from prospecting to closing new business. The target market is tier-two and tier-three broadband service providers such as independent telephone companies, cable companies, municipalities and wireless Internet service providers. The product suite includes wholesale Internet access services, such as private-label email and end-user technical support, network engineering, broadband diagnostics software and Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions. This is primarily an inside sales position with limited travel.

Responsibilities include:

              • Coordinating and leading all aspects of the “sales cycle” including: prospecting, cold calling, following up on leads, setting appointments, creating needs assessments, ROI analysis, providing and presenting prospects with proposals and contracts, reading buying signals, handling objections, and closing the sale.
              • Leading web-based presentations and information sessions via GoToMeeting for prospects regarding services and technologies delivered by ZCorum and its strategic partners.
              • Tracking sales activity with daily and weekly call reports, sales forecasts, prospect analyses, and territory analyses.
              • Working cooperatively with other departments throughout the sales process, including Sales Engineering, Network Engineering and Senior Management.

The ideal candidate will possess these qualities:

              • A Bachelor’s degree
              • Two-plus years experience and success in building, developing and prospecting in a business to business market, including lead generation, cold calling, moving the prospect through the consultative sales process and closing business.
              • Preference to candidates with knowledge of the Cable Broadband, IP Set-Top Box, DSL and FTTH Telecommunications industry, such as Cable DOCSIS Data Cable Services, FTTH and DSL Broadband Telecom Services, VoIP for Residential and Commercial Services.
              • Good negotiation and presentation skills
