Clarksville Connected Utilities LogoThe Arkansas utility provider optimizes network management with tools for network visibility and distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack prevention.

Alpharetta, Georgia (May 19, 2022) – ZCorum, a leading provider of diagnostic tools and managed broadband services, is now providing Clarksville Connected Utilities with fiber diagnostics and DDoS management solutions. Located in Clarksville, Arkansas, the municipal utility provides fiber Internet and voice services throughout the area.

Under the agreement, Clarksville Connected will have access to TruVizion, ZCorum’s cross-platform monitoring tool that provides live and historical data on equipment and network performance. The company will now have key metrics from OLTs and connected ONTs to help pinpoint and troubleshoot subscriber issues.

“We needed a viable solution for diagnostics and monitoring on our fiber network,” said Clarksville Connected CEO, John Lester. “After working with ZCorum to understand the product, we were confident that this solution was effective and exactly what we needed.”

Additionally, Clarksville Connected will deploy ZCorum’s DDoS security solution to manage destructive attacks that can be difficult to detect and prevent. Because the size and complexity of attacks is a growing concern, the provider required a proven security strategy in place that could enforce security policies and protect their network.

“DDoS attacks are gaining momentum and it’s essential that networks are secure and can accommodate the vast number of connected consumer devices. Our DDoS solution can stop a range of threats and overcome these problems as they surface,” said Arthur Skinner, VP of Worldwide Sales.

“We’re pleased that Clarksville chose ZCorum’s tools to help them more efficiently manage and protect their fiber network,” added Julie Compann, President and CEO of ZCorum.“ We’re very excited to welcome Clarksville to the ZCorum community”
