Alpharetta, GA (December 9, 2020) — ZCorum, an industry leader in the deployment of managed diagnostics tools and software for broadband providers, was the recipient of their sixth GLOBE Award for the company’s continued global expansion in 2019. The GLOBE Award is a state-led award program that recognizes Georgia companies for achieving entry into one or more new international markets during the calendar year 2019.
ZCorum was also awarded 2019 Exporter of the Year in the large company class from the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD). ZCorum was one of only four outstanding companies that are recognized as 2019 Exporters of the Year.
“Success in global markets takes commitment and hard work. Our Georgia made products and services are making a mark around the world,” said Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp. “We’re proud to celebrate these companies for their contributions to a thriving Georgia economy through ships.”
The GLOBE Award winners represent nearly every corner of the state and are predominately small firms. The award was presented at ZCorum’s headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia on December 9, 2020.
ZCorum Vice President Carlos Bustamante upon accepting the award said, “International operators are looking for better ways to manage their broadband networks. Our advanced diagnostics solutions are helping providers in countries all over the world. We appreciate the support and encouragement of the State of Georgia and the GDEcD as we continue to expand our business outside the borders of the United States.”
ZCorum President and CEO Julie Compann added, “We are delighted to be named a 2019 Exporter of the Year along with our sixth GLOBE award. This recognition for our contribution to Georgia’s continuing international trade growth affirms our commitment to provide trusted tools and practical guidance to help broadband operators in international markets better manage their operations.”
